WAREHOUSE WORKER RESPONSIBILITIES
Warehouse workers are responsible for sorting, loading, and unloading merchandise, receiving packages, sorting and storing products, recording data in the computer system, and ensuring product quality. They must pick, pack, and ship all orders using a scanner, categorizing each package by size and destination. Additionally, they handle material movement by walking between various workstations and address any unforeseen issues during their tasks. They may lift loads up to 15 KG and must adhere to safety and quality standards.
REQUIREMENTS
Ideal candidates for IKEA warehouse jobs are of legal working age, available for shifts, including nights and weekends, and willing to work overtime when necessary. They should be punctual, precise, attentive, and capable of maintaining high-quality standards. Prior experience in the role is not necessary as adequate on-the-job training will be provided. Proficiency in the English language is required.
CONTRACT AND SALARY
Starting from October 2022, there has been an increase in IKEA warehouse worker salaries in the United States. The job offer for IKEA warehouse workers includes temporary employment with a monthly salary of $1,713 (gross income at entry level). IKEA employees are also entitled to an additional bonus of $500 net and meal vouchers worth $5, which will be increased to $7 starting from January 2023.
